Art Appetit Workshops

Tuesday Aug 28th, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Thursday Aug 30th, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Thursday September 6th, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Participants can come and go as they please during these workshops.
No RSVP needed!
We would love to have you and your family/friends participate in the making of our Art Appetit fundraiser. Workshops take place at the Quincy Art Center. We will paint hand made pottery made by volunteers and staff. We will also have small canvas painting available while supplies lasts! This fundraiser supports the educational programming of the Quincy Art Center.
All finished artwork will be displayed and sold during
October 6, 2012
11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
You can schedule a private Art Appetit Workshop for your group of 10 or more people. Workshops take place at the Quincy Art Center and last an hour in length. We will start with painting previously made ceramic bowls that have already been fired in the kiln. We will then hand build clay bowls that will be painted by future participants. OR Your group can choose to paint on canvases. All finished artwork will be displayed and sold during Artoberfest, October 6, 2012. This fundraiser supports the educational programming of the Quincy Art Center.
Scout Troops: If you would like your group to earn a clay/ceramic/art badge or part of an art badge. I can tailor your session to achieve all or some of the requirements.
I am available to give a workshop Monday – Friday 9 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. If you are unable to meet during these times let me know what would be convenient for your group. I will need to know a few weeks in advance of the date you would like to meet to be sure there is enough bowls available.
No private Bowl Appetit workshops may be scheduled in the months of September or October due to Artoberfest preparations and wrap up.
