9th - 12th Grade Wheel Throwing &
Hand Building Pottery
Instructor: Lexi Mayberry

Get messy and throw on a pottery wheel! Also, practice basic hand building techniques with clay. Projects will include different forms such as cups, bowls and vases. Students will glaze all pottery with food safe glazes. No experience necessary for either session. Maximum of 12 students.
9th - 12th Grade Pastel and Painting
Instructor: Lexi Mayberry

Mondays 6 - 7:30 p.m. Feb 27, March 5, 12, 19, and 26
First, students will explore the power of pastels by creating colorful life-like portraits from chalk pastels. We will then switch to acrylic paint and compose combination landscape paintings.
4th - 8th Grade Wheel Throwing

Students will learn to use a pottery wheel and create their own handmade pottery. All projects will be glazed and fired. All glazes are food safe. No experience necessary for any session. Maximum of 7 students.

Painting with the Pros with Libby Tournear, $63
Kindergarten – 6 Grade FULL
Tuesdays 3:30 - 5 p.m. (6 week class) Jan 24 - Feb 28
In this class, students will study and explore the techniques of famous painters like Van Gogh, Picasso, Matisse and many more! Using techniques such as impressionism, cubism, and pointillism, students will work to recreate famous works of art.
This is a great class for creative kids who love to paint and want to learn more about famous artists and their masterpieces.
The Power of Paper with Libby Tournear, $63
Kindergarten – 6 Grade
Tuesdays 3:30 - 5 p.m. (6 week class) March 13 - April 17
Many people think of paper as a medium on which to create art, but in this class the paper is the art! Students will complete a variety of fun paper-based projects. Collage, origami, scratch art, and even paper-making are just some of the neat things students can create with paper! This class is great for students who like to work with their hands and make 3D projects.
Make it Mosaic with Libby Tournear, $63
Kindergarten – 6 Grade
Tuesdays 3:30 - 5 p.m. (6 week class) April 24 - May 22
Turn lots of little pieces into one fabulous work of art! Mosaics teach the power of repetition, and are a great way to recycle discarded objects. We will make mosaics in many ways with a multitude of materials. Young artists will have a great time looking for just the right piece for their own original designs! A fun and unique class for detail-oriented little minds!
Wonderfully Wacky Wednesdays!! with Libby Tournear, $63
Kindergarten – 6 Grade
Wednesdays: 3:30 - 5 p.m.
Let Wednesday be your day to be creative! We will paint, draw, sculpt and craft a ton of fun art projects! This class will celebrate holidays big and small, the changing of the seasons, the power of creativity and more! Students can sign up for one, two, or all three sessions, a different project will be offered each week, all semester long!

Preschool
Pint Sized Picassos for Preschool with Libby Tournear, $63
Fridays, 1 - 2:30 p.m.
It is never too early to get your child interested in art! In Pint Sized Picassos we have a blast learning the basics of painting, sculpting, cutting, collaging, and crafting! Fun projects will be completed weekly in addition to snack and story time! All sessions are different and unique with our wonderful Miss Libby. Students must be potty trained and able to stay without parents present.

Valentine’s Day Workshop

Saturday, Feb 11th, 10 a.m. - Noon
Kids will make a variety of charming party decorations: crayon shaving heart window decorations, heart garland, a fun valentine wreath and even a valentine party hat!
