Julie Nelson
Executive Director and Curator

       Nelson holds BFA and MFA degrees in Printmaking and Watercolor & Drawing from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL.  She taught art at the college level between 1980 - 1986 and has served in the museum field since 1984. Positions held include director of Freeport Art Museum/Arts Council, Curator of Education and then Director/Curator of the Sioux City Art Center and Gallery Director, University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, IA.
 
 Jennifer Teter
Associate Director & Curator

       Jennifer received her MFA in Ceramics in 2007 at Central Michigan University and her BFA in Ceramics in 2002 at Truman State University in Missouri.  As a graduate student, Jennifer was chosen to oversee the Central Michigan University Libraries three rotating art exhibition spaces, four floors of display, and permanent collection.  She worked intermittently for SJ Pottery in Bethel, MO between 2001-2008.  Jennifer worked with public school systems as a continuing education instructor, after school art teacher and substitute teacher between 2003 – 2004 and 2007 - 2008.  She taught ceramics at Interlochen Summer Arts Camp, an internationally renowned institution, between 2007 – 2010.  She taught college ceramics between  2004 – 2011, at Central Michigan University then at John Wood Community College.  
     Jennifer began as an exhibition preparator and facilities manager at the Art Center in late 2009 after which she quickly became full time and was soon promoted to Director of Education.
 
  Lana Rabe
Director of Marketing & Development

       Rabe received her BA in Painting from Hannibal LaGrange University in Hannibal, Missouri in May 2012. She works to maintain memberships, facilitate donations, and help develop community programming. She is also the coordinator for the Beaux Arts Ball.

Steven Stoll
Education Coordinator

Stoll is a graduate of SAIC and likes meeting the different Art Center patrons and having some studio time for his own projects too. His responsibilities include class registration, working with instructors to get ready for classes, facilitating Paint Your Own Pottery, and setting up Art Parties.

Obert is a Graduate of ISU and enjoys being surrounded by Art and other Artists at the Quincy Art Center. Her responsibilities include greeting patrons when they visit the Art Center, planning fundraisers & events, data entry, and helping at receptions.
