**Pre-School Camps

- 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.
$50 per session
For students who are 4 or 5 years of age and have not attended kindergarten.  All pre-school camps include story, snack and activity time.   Sorry Parents! Art Camp is just for kids.  Your camper must be ready to attend camp on their own.

Monday, June 15th – Thursday, June 18th
Storybook Stew – Take Two
In this edition of Story Book Stew we will make a Winnie the Pooh Honey Pot, create a Good Night Moon Shadow Box and discover Where The Sidewalk Ends with Ickle Me, Pickle me and Tickle me too.

Monday, June 22nd - Thursday, June 25th
Where the Wild Things ART!
Let the Wild Rumpus begin! You will be crowned king of all things wild with your own magic crown. Create your own “Wild Things Art” puppet theatre and puppet.

Monday, July 6th – Thursday, July 9th
What’s Cook’n
Each day you will learn to make your own dough, glue or clay and create fun things like play dough and goop.  You’ll make a chef’s hat, kitchen tiles and a recipe book.

Monday, July 13th – Thursday, July 16th
Splish-Splash
Splish Splash, look who’s in the bath!  Make your own clay bath tub.  Fill your tub with fun soap crayons, create a bubble painting and tie dye your own bath towel. Cool off each day in the water sprinkler.

 

**Kindergarten - 3rd Grade Camps

- 1:00-4:30 p.m.
$70 per session
For students who have just completed Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd
or 3rd grade.   All K-3rd grade camps include snack and activity time. Sorry Parents! Art Camp is just for kids.  Your camper must be ready to attend camp on their own.


Monday, June 15th – Friday, June 19th
Fantasy Island
Gargoyles on your chair, clay dragons on the wall, talking doors and book eating worms are among the many unusual things you will find on QAC’s fantasy island.

Monday, June 22nd - Friday, June 26th
Outback Safari
Join us down under on our Australian Outback Safari.  Don’t look now it’s a friendly crocodile.  Paper mache’ your own life size reptile.  Spend some time in the desert painting the camels and lizards.  Watch out for the Tasmanian Devil, he pops up when you least expect it!

Monday, July 6th – Friday, July 10th
Step in Time
Let’s make some noise!  Create your own drum from a trash can.  Splatter paint to the beat of your favorite tune.  Create a musical wind chime and print your own T-shirt.

Monday, July 13th – Friday, July 17th
Surf’s UP
The surf’s up at the QAC. Are you ready to ride a wave?  Make a mini-surf board, hang out at the beach and create your own permanent sand castle.  Tie-dye a beach towel and make a sea shell sculpture.

   

    
**4th – 6th Grade Camps

– 1:00 to 4:30 Mon.- Fri.
$70 per session

Throwing Mud– Session 1
You will use basic hand building and glaze techniques to create fun or functional pottery.  You will also learn to center, throw and trim simple forms on the potters wheel.

Monday, June 22nd - Friday, June 26th
Hot Stuff
Learn the art of  Encaustic painting.  Students will work with hot wax, pigment, paint, paper and other materials to paint, collage and sculpt their own masterpiece.

Monday, July 6th – Friday, July 10th

Will Your Boat Float?
Design, build and navigate a unique fun boat made from corrugated cardboard, duct tape, and paint.  When you’re finished you will race your boat to the finish in our first ever cardboard boat regatta.
