Susan Chrysler White received her MFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of California in Davis, CA and her BA in Painting from the University of California in Berkeley, CA. Chrysler White is a painter and sculptor who uses volatile Mother Nature and instable global political systems as inspiration. When painting, she uses an additive and subtractive method which results in unique patterns and unexpected conclusions. Her large scale sculpture pieces are made from Plexiglas and are reminiscent of baroque sculpture and art nouveau. These fantastic sculptures explore the interplay of light and space which leaves the viewer inspired and awed.
